Body Math™ in Kinesiology
A Global Approach to Assessment

British Journal of Kinesiology, March 2000

The art and science of kinesiology has excelled in assessing and treating many very difficult conditions that other systems of healing could not successfully treat or even know how to begin to assess. In fact many such cases, where other practitioners would be throwing up their arms (or telling the patient that it is all in their head), would be considered as easy or routine by experienced kinesiologists. The well trained and experienced kinesiologist is extremely deft at "trouble-shooting" through the various systems of anatomy and physiology to track down the aetiology of the presenting symptom(s) as well as being quite clever in providing treatment. In recent years the kinesiological assessment has become even more specific and specialised, for example being able to successfully assess specific brain pathways and nuclei to restore normal brain function for those with learning difficulties, closed head injuries or other cognitive disorders through the use of LEAP, developed in Australia.

To some degree kinesiology has followed a similar path of development as has western medicine, that is to become even more specific and specialised, thus achieving even more profound results with certain conditions. Kinesiology also shares similar shortcomings as the highly specialised field of western medicine, in being limited by having to be so specific. As long as the right questions are asked then the corresponding answers will lead the practitioner down a specific path to an effective correction thus achieving the desired results. And yet there are still those patients/clients that slip through the cracks since the appropriate questions have not been asked or the right protocol for that condition has not been developed (since the condition itself has not yet been understood enough to know what questions to even ask). For such situations a more global approach to assessment would be of great help to kinesiologists.

The Body Math™ system of healing is a system that provides just that, a very global and wholistic assessment from which to understand what is really going on with a person multidimentionally. In fact its name comes from a Multidimensional Approach To Healing (MATH) for the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies, thus Body Math™. Body Math™ is a universal language of healing, a language that once understood can provide kinesiologists with a greater, more global understanding from which to formulate the appropriate questions to ask. Body Math™ is much like kinesiology in its ability to discover from a person's body (or multidimensional bodies) exactly what is going on with that person at the given time; and it is actually more direct than kinesiology in that it does not require the intermediary indicator of a muscle to test. Body Math™ practitioners assess the various bodies through direct palpation using the practitionerâs well trained hands to assess the four levels or bodies (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) of the aura as well as the chakra system on these same four levels. This assessment is done both on the patientâs physical body as well as "off-body" in the four layers or levels of the electromagnetic field of the aura, again through direct palpation. Studies have well demonstrated the human hand's ability to perceive various frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum. In fact this ability to sense and discriminate such with one's hands exists as a viable potential for those that are willing to put the time and effort into developing these skills, much like learning to play the piano. Thus the findings obtained through the Body Math™ assessment are consistently reliable as well as reproducible among trained practitioners.
