ESR - Inner Opening Technique™ Sessions

ESR Sessions have two prerequisites: 1) that the individual to have the ESR done tests positive for it using Chakra Testing and 2) that they have learned the Grounding of the Spirit technique to anchor their spirit (one's own healing life-force using one's spiritual level chakras) into the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. This is usually taught during a personal consultation/full evaluation session either in person or on the phone with David Malin, but may also be self-learned and practiced after having a email chakra scan or a limited chakra reading over the phone. However the ESR sessions them self must of course be done in person, as it is very much a physical technique and the first series requires four individual sessions, one-a-day over four days. The individual receiving the session is first prepared through specific manual therapy techniques. This will allow the physical body to best receive the structural changes from the internal cranial manipulation of the sphenoid bone. Then David will perform very specific testing of the body's structural integrity to determine the precise approach of each session.

The person's body is then placed in an optimum position according to the structural test findings, often with one or more assistants helping to support the person in the given position. All those present will then ground and focus on creating a centered and safe space for healing to occur (an important shamanic principle). This will greatly assist the person to receive optimal benefit on multidimensional levels during the actual release to follow. David will then gently insert a small inflation device through one of six nasal passages. When ready the person will take a deep breath and hold it, while the inflation device is briefly inflated pressing precisely against the sphenoid bone, thus moving it into a more optimal position. Each day's entire session procedure takes approximately one hour.

The inflation/sphenoid release itself takes only a few seconds and can be described as a variable degree of pressure in the head. This may be experienced as simply pressure or as discomfort or even as painful to some degree depending on many factors. The device is then immediately deflated and removed by David who then gives the person time and support to integrate as their deep core restriction patterns begin to release. As their body begins to change on all levels, the person will be asked to ground into their being the newly gained or recovered aspects of their spiritual life-force (in shamanic terms, there will have occurred significant ‘soul retrieval’). Finally when ready, the person will be asked to stand and reset their proprioception (inner balance mechanism) by standing on a balance devices for a few minutes. This will greatly help them to integrate the newly forming patterns of stability and integrity that is now available to them. Follow-up ERS series may be less than four sessions depending as always on the Chakra Testing, but the first series is always four sessions. Group ESR Retreats

This exact same procedure can also be done with a group in a retreat setting away from one’s daily life activities. Such ESR retreats afford an individual not only more integration time and space to allow for the changes that occur with ESR to more fully settle in, but also on a much more profound level. Part of this comes from the group dynamics and part from being away from one's every day busy life where there is little time and space to self-reflect. The group, which is made of no more than eight individuals that have all tested positive for participating together in the ESR Retreat using Chakra Testing, are able to support each other in ways that are very synergistically profound. For everyone in the group is concurrently experiencing great change from having the ESR done, and feeling the collective support of each other to make such changes that may not have been possible otherwise. Each day the group is divided into two subgroups, again according to the Chakra Testing, so that the morning and afternoon groups may each experience a more specific focus for their individual releases, according to the changing group dynamics and vibrational harmonizing. As providing a mechanism for change on all levels is what ESR - Inner Opening Technique™ is all about. Then during free time, especially in the evening, group members benefit from sharing different aspects of their healing experience from the ESR sessions, thus helping each other to take it to an even deeper level of understanding and integration. Group Retreats may be either four days or five days with the fifth day allowing for more integration time as well as Body Math™ group instruction.
