Initial Full Evaluation/Consultation Session
An initial consultation session with David Malin, either by phone or in person, is typically 1 1/2 hours long. However, a 1 hour or 1 1/4 hour session is usually long enough for children 16 and under, people who have previously attended a 3-hour presentation or those that have had a combined Email Chakra & Aura Evaluation. Scheduling is done in advance by email or phone (1-800-449-3022), through his administrative assistant, Mindy. In-person consultation sessions are dependent on David's travel schedule. Mindy can check availability of appointment dates in his Colorado office, or when he may be in your area. David will make special arrangements to come to your area if you have enough people scheduled to see him.
David will want to know as little about you as possible before "scanning" your auric field to prevent any bias. He will scan all 4 bodies/layers of the aura (Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual) for key restrictions, then scan all 4 bodies to check the status of all 12 chakras (12 chakras times 4 bodies). When David is finished scanning (or occasionally during), he will briefly discuss his preliminary findings and their significance and probably ask you a few questions to help with clarification and interpretation. After going through a thorough energetic history (see below), he will go into more detail. If there are any "foreign energies" present (i.e. energies that do not belong in your auric field) he will do an Energy Clearing.
An energetic history will focus on the chakras. It's purpose is to find key events that have caused major shifts in your energy, causing it to disconnect/shut down. Just as energy follows thought, so too will David direct you chronologically through your life memories, checking your chakras as you go. In addition to focusing on "low points" or traumas (to see what type of situations may have "shut you down"), he will also have you focus on "high points" (when "life was good") to reveal what types of situations and conditions enhance and strengthen your energy ("open you up").
When the energetic history is complete, David will provide you with the "big picture" of your life history, allowing you to share anything that hasn’t already been addressed and asking any further questions that might clarify his findings. He will then return to the current findings with a more detailed interpretation, including which chakra in a given layer is being drained by the restriction found, fully revealing what’s "happening now" with you. You'll be provided with specific advice about where to focus your attention at this time for healing your main issue(s). Additionally, David will instruct you in the basics of Grounding the Spirit to make you more solid, present and better able to heal yourself (please print out the section on Grounding the Spirit prior to your session). If appropriate (and time allows), you may also be shown a few other specific self-healing techniques related to your particular situation.
