Spiritual Grounding
Spiritual grounding is the act of being here in the present, with no misconceptions about where we are or who we are. It is about being fully aware of our physical selves, while striving to be more spiritual. If we are grounded, we are conscious of our selves, our surroundings, and our connection to the earth. We have a strong sense of being. People who can see auric fields will see ring-like layers around us. To become grounded, one has to understand the twelve chakras that are present in the body. The energy from the chakras must be directed into the grounding regions for each of the four bodies--physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. This will bring balance to the state of our physical and emotional beings. Only then can we properly learn to attain higher spiritual levels, bridge our spirit to our physical selves, and self-heal. David Malin's website here at www.bodymath.com shows several techniques for grounding spiritually, from above and from below. Practicing these techniques leads to improved energy flow, grounding, and (ultimately) better health. The e-book Heal Thy Self explains the importance of healing emotionally, spiritually, and physically. The book is a guide for anyone interested in multidimensional healing or self-healing. The exercises outlined in the book lead the reader to spiritual grounding and optimum health. Through the book, even people who aren't familiar with the use of the body's own energy flow in healing will be able to understand how to use it properly. You can order the e-book and learn more here on this website.
